NAME: Annette
JOB TITLE: Owner/Founder and President of
Orion Kennel Club, Inc.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Book keeping, organizing duties
and employees, maintaining a qualified staff and all other aspects of owning a
business.
STAFF MEMBER OF ORION KENNEL CLUB SINCE: I
founded the company in December of 1987.
SPECIAL TRAINING AND SKILLS: I have a two year
degree in accounting and while earning that degree I started my home/office
cleaning business. Because of my love for animals, I decided to change my
career goal to one that involved them and opened a small kennel in Rochester,
Michigan. After operating this kennel for 3 years, I gained enough knowledge
and experience to be able to build and open a larger facility in Lake Orion,
Michigan, which is still thriving to this day.
I am particularly adept at organizational skills,
I have the strong desire to keep my employees contented, I am open minded, a
hard worker and I am willing to try new things.
PERSONAL PETS: My family and I have Bianca
(setter/lab mix), Dominque (American Bull dog/mix) and recently adopted Carmella
(boston terrier/mix),
HOBBIES: I enjoy taking walks (with my dog along
for company), playing bocce, tennis, yoga, reading, and traveling both alone and with my
family. PERSONAL GOALS: To make my company the best of it's kind for consumers in Michigan, to be healthy and fit, to raise a well rounded exemplary citizen (my daughter), to maintain a good and healthy working environment, to be able to one day retire, sit back and be proud of my companies accomplishments.
