Experienced Groomer

Hours (but not limited to)

Monday 7:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You would need to be able to know how to groom almost all breeds and apply good talents with each and every animal you are responsible for.

You must be willing/accepting to work under the supervision of our head groomer. We take pride in quality and having you be instructed by our head groomer will be a must.

You will be responsible for many clerical skills and having such talents and good organizational skills is important.

You must bring to our company a love for animals. When giving the pet a full grooming you have to apply calmness and much consideration for each and every pet.  We are looking for someone who has a nice even temperament, in which the animals can sense.

Kennel Positions

We are looking for 1 full time employee and 1 part time employee with experience that has a passion for pet care and wants to continue a career in this industry! We have large expectations to ensure our clients pets get the care they deserve.

Most of your duties will be housekeeping of all the pet rooms, the backyards, washing dog and cat dishes, and washing their bedding.  You will be trained to ensure that the entire building is clean by applying our standards.

You will need good reading and writing skills for reporting upon all the pets.

You will be taught our requirements for food and water dispensing and preparation.

You will be taught light pet grooming, including trimming nails.

You will be taught pet handling skills, it will be expected that you use these skills we teach you each and everyday.

The above is a brief outline of what is required each and everyday. We are looking for someone with great cleaning habits, great communication skills and the willingness to work hard.

We offer a great work schedule (considering the year around requirements our pets need). Holidays are rotated and every other weekend off! 

Full time employee starts at $7.60 per hour for the first 30 days of training and then a 7% pay increase or more (pending performance),  then after completing  90 days a 4% pay increase or more and benefits.

We offer a great retirement and health insurance package (after completion of a 90 day training period).  Since our company is well sized our business continues to flourish. We are one of very few kennels that feel privileged to offer such benefits in this industry.

Part time employee start at  $7.40 per hour then a 7% pay increase or more (pending performance),  then after completing  90 days a 4% pay increase or more. Training is necessary for this position. It is very important to have someone dedicated and willing to apply some quick learning skills. This IS NOT just a summer job. We need someone to have available through out the entire year, yet on a part time basis. This includes the summer, weekends, holidays and holiday breaks when school is not in session these are our peak times so it is very important for you to be able to work these times.
