NAME: Joanne
JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: I answer the phones, take
reservations, do front desk duties, such as checking pets in and out, do data
entry and various other tasks on the computer, monitor the building and staff
and also assist with the many tasks involved with care of our guests and our
facility. SPECIAL TRAINING AND SKILLS: I am certified in Pet First Aid and am working towards certification in ABKA (American Boarding Kennel Association). I have over 15 years experience working in a high volume office answering phones and other office duties. I consider myself, and have been told, that I am very creative , especially when it comes to thinking up solutions to problems. I am also a highly organized person, which is very advantageous to my profession.
PERSONAL PETS:
In the past, my family and I have owned a
Cockapoo (Pepper), three barnyard ducks (Huey, Duey and Lucy) and various fish.
HOBBIES:
I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes,
physical fitness activities, aerobics, weights and yoga. I also enjoy going for
rides on my husband’s motorcycle. PERSONAL GOALS: To live a healthy, happy life and to be open to learning regardless of age.
