Please call during our
business hours Monday - Friday to book your pets reservation. |
 |
Booking a reservation
early will help ensure a room and/or double room for families with more than
one large dog. |
 |
Annually, our
reservation books open the first Wednesday in December for the following
year. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis, so please mark your
calendars. |
 |
Getting your name placed on
a standby list for boarding or grooming service (if we are booked) will never
be a waste of time. We immediately refer to our standby lists if anyone calls
and cancels or rearranges their reservation. Keep in mind our standby lists
get long and the position you are on the list is deceiving; many people may no
longer need the room, or changed their dates. |
 |
If you make a reservation
during one of our peak seasons, which includes all holidays, full pre-payment
is required. You will receive a form (if booking a peak season) and it will
detail all the necessary instructions. Click here
to see peak season policies. |
 |
Please have your pets on a
leash. |
 |
When packing their food,
please pack each meal in individual baggies (1 meal per bag). When packaging
food allow for at least two extra days! |
 |
Tupperware and tins are not acceptable as they
take up a lot of extra space. Please limit your pet supplies to a approximate
size of 10 1/4"H X 12"W X 24"D to be sure your luggage fits in its storage
space. |
 |
Do not feed your pet for at
least one hour prior to or after returning from boarding or grooming to
minimize possibilities of upset stomachs. |
 |
If your pet is on
medications, whether for treatment of symptoms or preventative (examples; bee
allergy, thunderstorm and/or loose stool medications), it is highly
recommended to bring in all medications for any present and/or possible
situations that could arise and please include at least two extra doses. Make
sure you check the expiration date on medications before you bring them in to
ensure effectiveness. |
 |
Bringing in your pet as
early as possible allows them time to adjust to their new surroundings. If you
arrive before noon, you can take advantage of no charge for that day. This is
one of our most unique rules for the love and respect of your pet's emotions.
It has been proven that the highest stress when boarding an animal takes place
within the first 12 hours. Having a full day with us allows plenty of
attention from our staff to get them comfortable. |
 |
When checking in for
boarding or grooming, you must present verification of current Rabies
and Parvo/Distemper vaccination (D.H.L.P.P for canines and F.V.R.C-P. for
felines). We recommend the Bordatella vaccine (consult your veterinarian).
If we have to acquire these on our own there will be a $5.00 charge. Not
having current vaccine records upon check in can cause a lot of stress. It can
be very confusing for your pet to arrive for boarding, only to leave for the
veterinarians and then to be brought back. Also the stress for you hoping to
find a veterinarian office open that day for required vaccines. If vaccines
are given that day, there is a chance your pet may have a reaction to the
vaccine. These scenarios will most likely interrupt your already busy schedule
for the day. Please plan ahead for your sake and that of your pet. |
 |
Please make sure your pets
are free from internal and external parasites, such as worms and fleas. |
 |
You will need to provide
contact person's (guardians) names and
phone numbers in addition to all of your personal and whereabouts phone
numbers. Please bring this information with you for check-in. As popular as
cellular phones may be, they have proven to be ineffective at times. Please
provide phone numbers other than cellular. If after we make all attempts to
reach owners with no success, then guardians will be contacted in the event of
a minor or major circumstance (including, but not limited to, medical
concerns). They may need to perform decision-making and/or provide
transportation for your pet if required. Please arrange ahead of time someone
to accept these responsibilities.
Once again, we have done
some research in an effort to help you. Companies you may want to investigate
further for transportation purposes are posted here. We don't have pet
ambulances in our area yet... maybe one day soon! |
 |
Remember, you can only
check your pet in or out during scheduled business hours. |
